  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  2. Stir in molasses, honey, syrup, and egg yolk
  3. Mix in flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg; blend into the molasses mixture until smooth..
  4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Put out 2cm radius dollops on greased cookie sheet
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until firm. Let cool 2-5 minutes before removing.
