- 1 stick butter (4 oz), softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chocolate pudding
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Add the pudding, then the eggs, one at a time, beating well after
each addition.
- Beat in vanilla.
- Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Melt chocolate chips in saucepan (nonstick) with a little bit of butter. Beat into mixture.
- Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Spread remaining batter evenly over top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool on a wire rack.
